Fernstar is a very small cat. She is a light brown tabby with a slim body. Her tail is long and thin, and her pelt is blotched with black spots. She has large ears and a long muzzle, and her eyes are bright green. Her long muzzle supports long, sharp teeth.

Her paws are small, and her claws are small but sharp, and tear through flesh easily. She is able to climb fairly easily, with her long tail and slim form, and she can run very fast also. However, she is not very strong, and fighting is not her strong point, unless she can trick her opponent.

Personality ;;

Fernstar is very calm and quiet. She listens much more than she talks, for she believes everyone deserves to get an opinion. She has a short-temper though, and does not like to be interrupted when she is talking. She can become very snippy when arguing. She is very protective of her clan, and likes to know what is going on within it. She dislikes secrets, and prefers talking things out rather than fighting through them.

In battle, her wits and cleverness help her more than her strength. She tricks her opponent rather than overpowering them. She is very intelligent and very sharp. Her senses are strong and she always listens.

History ;;

Fernstar has not lived a very exciting life. She was born without siblings in StormClan, and managed to survive through the leaf-bare of her apprenticeship. She always overachieved at everything, and became a warrior at 11 moons. Her mentor, her aunt, was very proud of her, as were her parents. Unfortunately, her parents died only a few months later as a result of a brutal battle with LustClan. She had been injured during that battle however, and was unconscious in the medicine cat's den for almost 4 days afterward. She recovered and earned her spot as deputy 14 moons later. After the death of her leader from whitecough, she became leader of StormClan.
